Limerence began production in August 2016. The film was the passion project of Salina filmmaker Isaiah Marcotte. At the Age of 16, he set out to make his first feature-length film - an ambitious blend of live-action and animation in the style of a Visual Album Film, in the vein of Pink Floyd's The Wall, Yellow Submarine, or Interstella 5555.
Now almost 10 years later, Isaiah has nearly finished the Herculean task of making an epic feature film with no studio or financial backing.
With over 80% of the film completed and only a few sections of animation left to produce, we're reaching out to YOU for help.

Spiraling through a world of mindless desires and vapid illusions, John is shaken out of the maddening chaos when he meets a girl named Lilly. Life suddenly makes sense in the pursuit of her as John slowly falls in love.
This thin vestige of security is shattered when reality strikes and John realizes he has been swept up into an illusion of daydreams. But of whose making?
Cast back into the anxiety-inducing abyss of the modern Zeitgeist, John must fight to find his way out of madness in hopes of one day finally seeing life beyond illusions.
Limerence is the story of the average teenage experience of "finding yourself" told on a metaphysical scale and against the backdrop of a Rock Opera!

TV Demon (Ahriman)
The Zeitgeist and popular culture incarnate. The TV Demon is an embodiment of Ahriman, sent to toy with and torture John.
The Self (Philemon)
Little is known about this mysterious and benevolent being, but he seems to want to help John and opposes the TV Demon's machinations.
Carlos Sombra
He has stolen the heart of the fair Lilly and stands in the way of John's revelation.
